Nova Ren Suma (she/her) is a New York Times bestselling author of strange, magical, and ghostly young adult novels and a two-time Edgar Award finalist. Her novels include the #1 New York Times bestselling The Walls Around Us, A Room Away from the Wolves, Imaginary Girls, and more, and she was co-editor of the story & writing craft anthology FORESHADOW: Stories to Celebrate the Magic of Reading & Writing YA, which originated as the online publication She has an MFA in fiction from Columbia University and has taught creative writing at the University of Pennsylvania and Vermont College of Fine Arts as well as novel-writing workshops with the Djerassi Resident Artists Program, the Tin House YA Workshop, and the Fine Arts Work Center/24PearlStreet.
