Reschedule & Refund Policies
In the Event of Workshop Cancellation/Reschedule by the Highlights Foundation
In the event that we need to cancel a scheduled workshop or retreat due to COVID-19, we will attempt to reschedule that workshop based on faculty and facility availability, or help attendees find another option that fits their needs.
Your deposit will be applied to the rescheduled workshop if one is available and it works for your schedule, or you will receive full credit for any monies paid toward another workshop or retreat. If a credit does not work for you financially, we can refund monies paid.
General Refund Policy for Individual Needs
Our individual refund policy reflects our community values, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We’ll work with you, and we’ll do our best to help you.
If you are unable to attend a workshop or retreat for any reason, you will receive full credit up to its start date toward a future workshop or retreat. If a credit does not work for you financially, we can refund monies paid.
This policy is the same for both in-person and online offerings.
If you need to cancel and you’d like to choose a different workshop or retreat, we’ll work with you to find another that fits your needs. While some workshops have participant caps, we have some flexibility to accommodate people affected by unforeseen circumstances (especially in online workshops).
We appreciate any advance notice that you can give about your plans. Most of our workshops are capped at a certain number of participants, and we’d like to give consideration to those waiting for spots. However, we do understand that things happen, and our policy reflects this understanding.
Health Concerns are of Utmost Importance
Health concerns come first. If you or a member of your household are experiencing a fever or any symptoms of illness, please refrain from visiting in-person. We will reschedule or refund your stay according to the above policy.
