Mike is the author of more than 30 books for children, writing in both the Trade and Educational market. He has written fiction (fantasy, memoir, and poetry) and nonfiction (geography, aerospace, and other STEM topics). A few of his recent projects include THE FLYING MAN. OTTO LILIENTHAL, THE WORLD’S FIRST PILOT (Astra BFYR, winter 2022) School Library Journal starred review, Junior Library Guild selection, A TREASURE OF MEASURES (Chronicle, Spring 2024), and CHASING CURIOUS CREATURES (co-written-series, Astra, Spring 2024).
