Sarah Kapit is the author of several novels for young readers. Her novel GET A GRIP, VIVY COHEN! is a Schneider Family Award Honor title. Her most recent novel, SECOND CHANCE SUMMER, is a Junior Library Guild selection and received a starred review in ALA Booklist. In 2024, the first two books of Sarah’s Rachel Friedman chapter book series will be released, starting with RACHEL FRIEDMAN BREAKS THE RULES. She lives in Seattle with her partner and two tuxedo cats.
