Karen Boss

Karen Boss is a senior editor at Charlesbridge where she works on fiction and nonfiction picture books, middle-grade and young adult works. She holds a MA in Children’s Literature from Simmons College and regularly acts as a mentor for their Writing for Children MFA program. Some of the Native creatives she has worked with include: illustrators Jonathan Nelson (Diné), Madelyn Goodnight (Chickasaw), Johnson Yazzie (Diné), Garry Meeches, Sr. (Anishinaabe), Nicole Neidhardt (Diné) and authors Traci Sorell (Cherokee), Laurel Goodluck (Mandan/Hidatsa/Tshimshian), Danielle Greendeer (Mashpee Wampanoag), Anthony Perry (Chickasaw), Alexis Bunten (Yu’pik/Unangan), Leslie Stall Widener (Choctaw), and Patricia Gualinga (Kichwa).
