Elizabeth Rose Stanton

Originally trained as an architect, Elizabeth Rose Stanton segued over to fine art and design while raising her family. Now she builds picture books! Her debut book, Henny (Simon & Schuster) was named a 2014 best picture book by the New York Public Library and received an American Library Association Booklist star. Henny was also a finalist for the SCBWI Crystal Kite Award and the Prix Jeunesse des Libraires du Quebec (French edition). She is also the author and illustrator of Peddles (2016), Bub (2018), and Cowie (to be released, early 2020). Elizabeth lives in Seattle with her husband and a pair of Scottish Fold cats.
