Reawaken your creative life with a mentored retreat set in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. Jillian Sullivan, author of Fishing from the Boat Ramp: A Guide to Creating, is published in a wide variety of genres, ranging from children’s and young adult novels to adult poetry, short stories, and memoir. Writers of many genres are welcome at this retreat.
Each morning will begin with a hearty breakfast and uninterrupted writing time. Jillian will be available each day for a one-on-one session to discuss your work. For those who would like to spend some time outside, Jillian will lead a 15-minute silent walk in the woods after lunch, during which you’ll observe your surroundings, enhance the senses, and bring the results to your work. A 30-minute writing exercise will follow. These exercises can generate new writing or deepen work on a current project.
Evenings are free for writing or relaxing. This retreat offers what every writer needs: quiet time to write, a secluded place to work, guidance, inspiration, and a feeling of community with other writers.
Give yourself the gift of time and peace with this unique writer’s retreat.
Please note: Limited spaces available.
