You’ve heard of “whole language.” This workshop is for the “whole writer.” We proceed from knowing that under the lamplight the reader responds not to poem or story or essay as such, but to words that reach out and touch. So writers of fiction, non-fiction, poetry—all are invited. Yes, we will cover manuscript issues such as imagery and dialog—and business (contracts, agents)—but we will also address broader areas of process and fundamentals, as in “A Writer’s Life.” Priority will go to workshoppers’ questions and concerns.
Come spend a few days with four long-time friends who invite you to examine “The Writer’s Life” from a relaxed perspective. They will answer your questions, lead meaningful conversations, give feedback and share their knowledge and experience with you. The agenda will be driven by the attendees, so bring your questions, and come prepared to be invigorated and inspired!
