Carol Hinz

Carol Hinz is Associate Publisher of Millbrook Press and Carolrhoda Books, imprints of Lerner Publishing Group. She oversees and edits a range of picture books and photo-driven titles for readers in grades K–5. Recent and upcoming science titles include How to Build an Insect by Roberta Gibson, illustrated by Anne Lambelet; Classified by Traci Sorell, illustrated by Natasha Donovan; Washed Ashore by Kelly Crull; and The Lady and the Octopus by Danna Staaf. In her spare time, Carol enjoys knitting, ballet, and attempting to keep up with her 11-year-old and 8-year-old sons.
