Andrea Page

Andrea Page (Lakota, Standing Rock Nation) is a children’s author, retired teacher, and Co-President of Rochester Area Children’s Writers and Illustrators (RACWI). Her debut book, SIOUX CODE TALKERS OF WORLD WAR II, is the story of seven Native American Code Talkers’ military service in the Pacific Theater.

As a lifelong learner, Andrea continues to read, write, and study the craft of writing. Since 2020, she wrote eleven educational guides for publishers/authors to supplement their contemporary Native American titles. Being a long-time member of SCBWI and RACWI has helped her grow as a writer.

Each year brings fresh adventures. Andrea is excited to serve as a newly elected Board Member of the Children’s Literature Assembly (CLA of NCTE) and share her passion for children’s literature with others.

Andrea lives with her husband in Rochester, New York. For more information, visit www.WriterAndreaPage.com.
