Jalissa Corrie

Jalissa Corrie is a Marketing and Publicity Manager at Lee & Low Books, the largest multicultural children’s book publisher in the United States, and a planning committee member of People of Color in Publishing. Writing as J. Marcelle Corrie, Jalissa is also a contributor to A Phoenix First Must Burn (Penguin Random House, 2020), a young adult science fiction and fantasy anthology featuring stories of Black Girl Magic, resistance, and hope.
