Chuck Gonzales is a Latinx illustrator/graphic novel writer, living in both Providence RI, and Brooklyn NY. His graphic novel, Carlos Gomez Freestyles…Heavy on the Style is loosely based on the artist’s childhood in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, this graphic novel centers on Carlos Gomez and his family―the only Mexican-American family in their Midwestern town. He just finished volume 2, Carlos Gomez-Attack of the Trashcan Zombies, and is starting on volume 3.
