Catriella Freedman

Catriella Freedman is currently the Director of PJ Our Way, the next chapter of PJ Library for kids ages 9-12. With degrees from Princeton and Harvard, Catriella spent intensive years studying traditional Jewish texts at Midreshet Lindenbaum in Jerusalem and the Drisha Institute in New York City. She is the author of the parent-based curriculum from the Melton Center, Foundations of Jewish Family Living, and My Family Story, the project-based learning program from Beit Hatfutsot, the Museum of the Jewish People. She is passionate about Jewish books as a key to building Jewish engagement for kids and considers herself a dedicated author groupie. Originally from Los Angeles, Catriella and her husband are raising 4 children in beautiful Zichron Ya’akov, Israel.

Our campus (The Barn at Boyds Mills) is tucked away in the foothills of the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.  It's a few hours from both New York City and Philadelphia, but worlds away from everyday life.
