We’re pleased to welcome some wonderful new additions to our 2015 workshop faculty!
Ammi-Joan Paquette is the author of Princess Juniper of the Hourglass, Paradox, Rules for Ghosting, Nowhere Girl, Ghost in the House, Petey and Pru and the Hullabaloo, The Tiptoe Guide to Tracking Mermaids, and The Tiptoe Guide to Tracking Fairies. Melanie Hope Greenberg is an award-winning illustrator who has published illustrations with UNICEF, the Children’s Defense Fund, Southern Poverty Law Center and NAEYC as well as hundreds of images in magazines, on greeting cards, and gift items. She has illustrated sixteen trade published picture books and is the author of six; her books have won awards and are on notable, honor, and library reading lists. She’ll be a special guest at April’s Capturing the Spotlight: Getting the Gigs workshop. Read more about Melanie here.
Selene Castrovilla is the award-winning author of three contemporary young adult novels and three picture books about little known illuminating aspects of The American Revolution. Her books have been recognized for excellence by the International Reading Association, Bank Street College of Education, Booklist, the International School Library Association, the California Reading Association, the New York State Reading Association and more.
