Larry Rosler was a bookseller before joining Henry Holt & Company, where he served in the marketing and editorial departments. As assistant to the editor in chief, he had the opportunity to work on books by authors such as Edward Abbey, George V. Higgins, Gabriel García Márquez, and Yevgeny Yevtushenko. While at Holt, he received a CBS Publishing Outstanding Achievement Award. He is grateful to have served as an editor for Boyds Mills Press, where he has been associated with many wonderful authors and illustrators, including Suzanne Bloom, Ashley Bryan, Eve Bunting, Ted Lewin, Sheldon Oberman, and Neil Waldman. Books have been recognized with the Coretta Scott King Honor, Theodor Seuss Geisel Honor, and the National Jewish Book Award, among others. Larry edited three books chosen for the Pennsylvania One Book, Every Young Child Reading Initiative.
