Kim is the editor of OWL Magazine, published by Owlkids, where she has worked since 2012. As editor of OWL (for readers 9 to 13 years old), she oversees the magazine’s content, writes a number of its regular features, and edits various sections of the magazine. She is also involved in OWL‘s digital initiatives, including video production and social media. Before joining Owlkids, she was a digital producer at Astral Media for Family Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior. She’s a graduate of the University of Victoria’s Pacific and Asian Studies program where she majored in Japanese. She also attended Doshisha Women’s College in Kyoto, Japan. Kim is a guest blogger for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and is actively involved in a number of diabetes-awareness initiatives for kids and youth.
