What magic turns readers into believers? Spins ideas into
stories? Casts people into character? Transforms facts into
fiction and nonfiction?
If you have a story-in-progress (picture book, novel, or
nonfiction) that you would like to take to the next level,
come to this working writers’ retreat to discover—or
rediscover—your creative spirit. This working retreat
offers you the forum to discover, discuss, explore, experiment,
practice, and pursue your muse, voice, and subject(s). Come,
pack your muse! Give yourself the space, time, and support
to focus on your work in a serene and beautiful setting, away
from the pressures and distractions of daily life.
In this working retreat you will
- engage in craft discussions designed to improve
your work; and
- participate in writing exercises to help take
your work to the next level.
