We
all know it takes hard work to create high-quality stories
for children. But it also takes time, a carefully chosen space,
and expert encouragement. This week-long retreat combines
all three. Find your authentic voice, tell your story on paper,
and craft it to completion with individual guidance from renowned
children's author Joy Cowley. This workshop offers you
- a nurturing space in which to write your story or stories;
- two days of workshops designed to put you on track for
success;
- trouble-shooting sessions;
- help finding and developing a new work-or revitalizing
an old manuscript; and
- personal critiquing/guidance from your workshop leader.
Note:
Participants are encouraged to bring both new works and works
in progress to this workshop.
